I don’t usually do individual episode reviews (Tsuki ga Kirei had the special treatment lol) but something about today’s shows made me want to share my thoughts.
If you don’t know, Tsurezure Children is a short, romance comedy airing right now and it’s cute. I and many other people are having fun with this show.
So let’s talk about the silly couples we saw this week!
Chiaki and Kana
***What I’m describing in this section isn’t a hentai scene, there aren’t any shots of them fully naked and such. It’s not anything 18+, I guess is what I’m trying to say lol. Just clarifying!***
Holy jesus, these guys just went for it, eh?
The scene starts off with Kana finding Chiaki’s pornography, the Western kind of stuff, seems like Chiaki likes American ladies better, while they were studying. Kana immediately starts looking through it and comes to the conclusion that Chiaki didn’t want to study, and instead wanted to, you know, make love, to put it in simple terms.
But hold on, these guys haven’t even kissed yet! Chiaki starts hesitating about going through with this idea until Kana basically calls him a wuss. This makes him man up and start this new journey of his. However, instead of going head first into it, they go slowly and go by the baseball metaphors… you can go look that up for yourself.
However, Chiaki’s still a wuss and doesn’t want to rush things between them yet, but he’s too late to stop this since Kana starts taking her top off and starts to confess that she wants to get closer with him and get to know each other better.
After turning off the lights, excuse after excuse and discussing protection, they almost start, only to be interrupted by Chiaki’s mother, who hilariously acts calm about what’s going on and quickly leaves them be, but in the inside she knows that it’s going down between these two. She even told Chiaki’s sister to not come upstairs for a while 😛
Ah man, what a scene this was. I’m sixteen-years-old and I haven’t been in a romantic relationship before but holy shit, I did not know teenagers just go head first into having sex. I thought that it would take longer to get comfortable with it, but Kana just went full speed and decided to take the next big step in only a matter of seconds. It was interesting to watch these two lovebirds together and they are probably one of my favorite couples now 🙂
Probably the best thing about this was the smug mom, oh my goodness
Masafumi and Ryouko
Remember the delinquent girl who likes to smoke and the student council president? Well, they are back and it looks like it’s after the scene where Masafumi pretty much confessed his love (and they even kissed) to Ryouko, and forced her to quit smoking while the two date.
Ryouko then wants to tell Masafumi that they are not dating and one kiss didn’t mean anything. However, Masafumi turns the tables and tells Ryouko his true feelings about her like how he wanted to take her for himself before anyone else can and that Ryouko was his first crush. At a loss for words, Ryouko ends up blushing a lot, realizes that Masafumi’s feelings are pretty true and they kiss again.
I didn’t really like this couple, but they are now alright after watching this episode. It’s interesting to see a mean, delinquent get turned into a weaker girl who keeps blushing because of a nice confession.
Jun and Yuki
So this is the one with Kana Hanazawa, btw.
Months after Yuki straight up confessed to Jun, Jun still hasn’t decided if he wants to date her yet. One day, Yuki comes up to Jun and tells him that she has waited long enough for an answer and wants one now… oh, his username for a social media, that is.
Again with Yuki goofing around, Jun can’t keep up with the teasing. But, Yuki then asks the question seriously, but before Jun can reply, she immediately takes that short silence as a no.
With Jun panicking a little, Yuki says, “I can’t tell if you’re serious or playing me either, Furuya-kun“. Before Jun says anything, Yuki gives up trying to date him and with class is starting, he can’t get a word out.
Confused on if this is another funny act or not, Jun tries to figure out why Yuki gave up so quickly. Few moments later, Yuki texts Jun on why he keeps staring at her, Jun then replies that he wasn’t trying to, and then we see why she’s one of the best characters in this show.
Yuki tells Jun that she’s teasing him and doesn’t need an answer right away. She’s also glad that Jun was worried about her and ended up staring.
THESE TWO JUST NEED TO DATE ALREADY, GOD.
Yuki is probably my favorite character in this whole show, the teasing is very entertaining. And this scene wasn’t that different from the other ones except their relationship might be heading somewhere further now…
Takurou and Chizuru
After one of her friends gave her a love letter to deliver to Takurou, Chizuru told him about it. At first, Takurou thought it was a love letter from Chizuru, but once he heard it wasn’t, he was still happy but I’m pretty sure a little bit of him died inside.
However, Takurou will have to decline this request because he likes someone else, cough Chizuru cough. Chizuru asks if he’ll confess to his crush, but he then says he already did, but she didn’t notice, referring to like the last episode I think.
Basically, Takurou keeps it on the down low that he likes Chizuru while she doesn’t suspect a thing. Takurou asks Chizuru what if he confessed to her, and her response is fairly quick, saying no way, you wouldn’t want someone like me. Takurou then ends up getting advice on how to confess to his crush, AKA the person right in front of him.
I don’t know if that was intentional or just a coincidence, but what a smart fellow he is, gathering intel on how to correctly confess to her.
While on their way home, Takurou tells Chizuru that he’s going to give up confessing mainly because he doesn’t want to get friend-zoned (by her) and that he will personally say sorry to the person who gave him the love letter. Chizuru then sees the amazing amount of kindness in Takurou and starts to imagine him confessing to her, but she doesn’t think that’ll ever happen.
I like this pair of characters. Takurou is probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever seen and now that I saw this episode, I’m rooting for him to get Chizuru. They would be a nice couple and I can see that it’s starting to heat up!
Alright that’s all for this week’s episode. Let me share with you the opening of this anime, because so far, it’s my favorite out of all the shows I’ve been watching:
